How to Use the Override on a Programmable Thermostat

Programmable thermostats help you save money and energy by using only the energy required to heat and cool your home when you’re there. When you’re away, the house may be warmer or cooler, depending on the season, according to the programmable thermostat schedule you set.

There are times, however, when you will need to temporarily adjust the programmable schedule to make your home more comfortable. Learn to use the override on a digital programmable thermostat to adjust the temperature as you see fit.
