Reattaching A Toilet Seat

HOW TO REATTACH A TOILET SEAT

You may need to purchase new hardware for the toilet seat to be reattached, but this is easily found at your local hardware or home improvement store.

This is the basic set up of most toilet seats. As you can see, there are bolts, washers and nuts that keep the seat onsecurely.

Every once in a while, the nut will become loose, or will break, and it will need to be repaired. All you have to do is tighten the nut below the seat back.

If the parts are broken, you can purchase a kit specifically for just the bolts, nuts and washers.

As you can see in the picture above, you can access the top of the bolt by unclipping the tops of the toilet seat, and you can access the washer by reaching under the back of the toilet seat
