1. Turn the thermostat to the "off" position, wait 10-15 minutes to see if the system shutsoff.
2. Check the filter in the unit to ensure it is clean and has been replaced. A dirty filter can cause damage to the unit and cause it to not run properly.
3. After you have gone through steps 1-2, please find the electric panel in the property and find the breaker for the HVAC unit. This should be labeled on the panel, but if it is not labeled, it should look like the breaker in the attached photo. Once you find the correct breaker, please turn it off and then back on. Refer To This Article On How To Reset A Circuit Breaker.
4. Go back over to the thermostat to turn it back on and make sure it is set to"auto".
a. If you have the heat on, please set the temperature below the current temperature in the property so it doesn'trun.
b. If you have the thermostat set to air conditioning, please set the temperature above the currenttemperature in the property so it doesn'trun.
5. If the unit still continues to run even after going through steps 1-4, please email meback.
